DJ 點 / DJ Point

千禧年後開始於全台各表演中看見他的蹤跡，04年加入潑猴樂團擔任該團DJ，近年與張睿銓搭配DJ/MC的Hip Hop組合走唱各地。從Scratch、取樣及電子聲響EF，Point除了在許多Club與大小派對中受邀演出外，亦專注在個人的電子音樂創作，並於05年於阿弟仔工作室旗下發行個人同名專輯《點》，並開始將他的獨特的細膩情境的編排加上張力十足的節奏帶入主流唱片的合作之中。莫文蔚、林憶蓮、潑猴以及部分線上藝人等，直至目前最新的張睿銓《重生》專輯與拷秋勤的合作，皆可聆聽到DJ Point特有的魅力與風格。目前持續個人的音樂創作，以及與其他音樂愛好者的合作外，也開始將他的DJ技巧傳授給有志加入的愛樂者，共同學習、切磋。

Since the millennium, DJ Point has started to make his appearance in shows all over Taiwan. In 2004, he joined Monkey Insane. In recent years, he has worked with Chang Jui-chuan as a DJ-MC hip-hop duo. In 2005, Point released his self-titled debut album Point under Adia's Music Studio and started to bring his unique arrangement and beats into pop-music productions. He contributed to works by Karen Mok, Sandy Lam, Monkey Insane, and other pop musicians. He also worked with Chang Jui-chuan on his latest album Resurrection. You can also find DJ Point's unique DJ style in Kou Chou Ching's music. He now continues working with other artists while sharing his DJ techniques with new DJ disciples.

Stingray

...Stingrays 初期深受影響的電音製作人有 Polygon Window, Kevin Saunderson, Robert Armani 等...1992年Stingrays 在新加坡發行了他們的第一張混音合輯叫做 MULTI-MIX，這在當地是一個創舉... 而後，逐漸開始在大型的表演派對，與世界一流的 DJs 在新加坡以外的周邊國家一起演出，其中包括有 Alec Empire, Jan Langer, Dalo, Oscar Mulero, Angel Molina, Paul Damage, Thomas Schumacher, Mate Galic 等...

Stingrays 的音樂從聆聽性質的 house，一直到實驗性的 broken beats/techno，與能量高亢的 hard techno 無所不包...

90 年後期 Stingrays 的成員之一 Eric Woon 曾受聘台灣芮河唱片擔任經理一職，推廣本土電音不遺餘力，不但促成發行了許多國外優質的電音混音合輯，也介紹了許多國外 DJs 來台表演，其中包括了 Oscar Mulero, Angel Molina 等...

2003 年 Stingrays 首次在英國 techno 廠牌 Sheep 發行 Equilibrium EP，高能量的 broken beats / tribal techno，很有 Eric 獨特的風格...

2004 年 Stingray (aka Eric) 加入由台灣歌手/電音製作人『林強』所主導的派對團體 -- 『和』 ,並於每個月底固定在台北華中橋下表演...

Lim Giong, the once chart-topping pop pioneer has switched gear into sound tracking for films, commercials, and occasional albums. In recent years, Lim tried to explore the Taiwanese way of doing experimental Electronica. This time though, Lim will travel back to his days behind the DJ deck, presenting a rare DJ set of free, indulged "Kiddy Electronica".

Children are born naive and spontaneous, listening to music should be done with just the same mindset - a natural and original state of mind. Lim's DJ set for the date will be primarily experimental and not bounded by genres or other limitations. There's nothing clubby or lounge-y, but pure free Electronica that goes beyond time and space, all the way to the ear of our inner child.
