太空蛋糕由三個男孩還有一個女孩所組成。女孩在我的心中沒有愛唱著我的愛全部都給你,FakeYoungPeople說著少女的奇幻故事,我的眼球破掉了記錄著某次不好的經驗。然後,我就想拿起吉他亂刷一下再弄點feedback再用鼓機編一些節拍。所以我真懷念PrimalScream的清除者,想再騎著Yo La Tengo的小獵犬狂飆,也想念在Stereolab的蕃茄帝國。於是乎我就想到自己那時候還算熱血的年紀。一邊想著自己的未來會是什麼樣,一邊跟朋友討 論要不要組團,一起來翻唱NewOrder的歌。然後我們可以一起去哪個好玩的地方去冒險。真是的,雖然青春不允許後悔。但是請讓我感性一下

Much like Polygon, we have witnessed Orange Doll starting to evolved from the early pop-punk sound into what they are today. They had recently completed the final Formoz gig and sold out all of their self-released EP, Now Orange Doll embarks on another batch of fall touring and hope to release their debut album by the spring.

Polygon is a Kaohsiung four-piece that had recently transformed their sound into a more mature Indie rock and occasional shoe-gazing brilliance. 蘇聯解體後,白俄羅斯成為一個國家,然而,1995年,盧卡•申科上台,民主和自由被禁止了,盧卡•申科為了能第三次連任總統而修改憲法的總統選舉。數以千計的人奮不顧身的走上街頭。在明斯克的主要廣場,音樂人和學生們加入反對力量在廣場上建起帳篷營,一起唱歌抗爭,展開了"顏色革命",而他們最終被軍方殘酷的鎮壓了。許多人被投進監獄。但是這批既尊重白俄羅斯傳統語言又歌唱西方搖滾的年輕孩子沒有放棄,他們深深的相信,白俄羅斯終有一天會成為一個自由的國度。

Polish director Miroslaw Dembi's Music Partisans takes on the land of -a country sin between Poland in the west, Lithuania and Latvia in the north, Russia in the west and Ukraine in the south since the destruction of Soviet Union. President Aleksandr Lukashenko took the leader spot in 1995, he was willing to take on any mean possible, including changing the constitution, to ensure his 3rd presidential terms. Students and musicians joined hands to demonstrations against Lukashenko, with their voice and music in the famous October Square. Although Lukashenko eventually won the election in 2006, people still believe that, one day, Belarus would be a free country again.

2002日舞影展最受觀眾歡迎紀錄片獎,自由之聲獎

通過非洲解放的一段長長的歷史,這部紀錄片展示了音樂在解放鬥爭中的作用。歌聲聯合那些受壓迫的人們並給他們找到了一條抒發情感之路。音樂又安慰了那些被關在獄中的人們,幫助他們在獄中創造了一條 "地下" 聯絡通道。英文片名「Amandla」是祖魯族語,意味著「力量」。全片收錄了許多動人的音樂以及充滿力量的歌聲,是相當精采且難得的作品。

"Amandla! A revolution in four part harmony" is the winner of the 2002 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and Freedom of Expression Award)and i impact of music during a time of the South African struggle against apartheid. For the pople, songs and music provided solace and and created an effective underground form of communication inside the prisons.

本片是關於美國民謠之父彼得席格(Pete Seeger)的音樂傳記片。彼得席格(Pete Seeger)出生於美國的一個音樂世家,父親是著名的音樂學家和作曲家,母親是一位小提琴演奏家。受家庭的熏陶,Pete Seeger從小就萌發了對音樂的無限興趣,並逐漸形成了政見自由的主張,年輕的Pete Seeger夢想成為一名新聞記者,之後,他組織了民謠史上赫赫有名的The Weavers樂隊,而後由爵士、布魯斯音樂發掘者John Hammond簽下。Pete Seeger一直堅持製作純正的民謠,並且一直使用原聲吉他和班卓琴。簡單就是美,有時往往簡單的東西反而能感染人們。
Pete Seeger作為民謠歌手,始終堅持對正義和自由的呼喚,他的那首《Where Have All The Flowers Gone》公開對冷戰的厭惡,結果換來當時美國ABC電視台禁止他參加由該台舉辦的民謠演唱會,但這沒有改變他一直以來的堅持。1996年,Pete Seeger作為1960年代著名的歌手入主了搖滾名人堂,而他最著名的作品除了《Where Have All The Flowers Gone》以外,還有《We Shall Overcome》、《If I Had A Hammer 》、《Turn!Turn!Turn!》等。

Pete Seeger is an American folk musician. Brought up within a family of musicians, Seeger showed interest in music early, and developed his own personal sense of political free self-expression. Young Seeger was inspired to be a journalist, before he got himself a band called The Weavers, and was later signed by renowned Jazz, Blues musician John Hammond. Musically, Pete insisted on using acoustic guitar and banjo, as he felt that it's often the simplest that would reach the most people.
As seen in his songs, Seeger would constantly visit political ideas "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" was an anti-war song directly aiming at the Cold War Era. Only later Seeger was rejected from performing in an ABC-hosted folk concert. Pete Seeger was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. 《We Shall Overcome》, 《If I Had A Hammer ", 《Turn!Turn!Turn!》were some of the most-known works from Seeger.

一部別出心裁的芬蘭音樂紀錄片,描述了70年代的社會主義運動。那時的社會主義運動儼然就是現實的替代品—在這場革命裡革命歌曲擔當了中心任務。戰鬥、團結、社會主義、越南、智利,圍繞著這些主題詞,數百個合唱團應運而生。而今,四十年過去了,當年的革命音樂家們已垂垂老矣,這些年過半百的音樂團體仍然驕傲地唱著他們的歌,在當地的學校、圖書館、超市、和夜晚的街道上,歌唱他們的過去、現在與未來。

"Revolution" is the Finnish music documentary primarily focusing on the Finnish socialist movement in the 70s. Back then, protest songs were the mainstays, covered subject matter like war, unity, socialism, Vietnam, Chile, among others. Some forty years had gone by since then, the musicians, mostly in their 50s, are still singing the same songs the songs of their country's past, present and future.

一部音樂人深入中東戰區的紀錄片, 2004年,嘻哈樂手Michael Franti厭煩新聞媒體大幅報導中東戰爭帶了經濟及政治成本,他決定帶著吉他進入戰區,探索戰爭帶來的人類成本,他和他的拍攝團隊穿越了眾多"禁區",包括伊拉克首都巴格達、約旦河西岸、以巴衝突點-加撒走廊。這段旅途,他拜訪了醫護人員、士兵、詩人、音樂家等人,用他的吉他和攝像機試圖帶來關於戰後人民生活狀態的第一手資料。在這次旅行結束後,一部引人注目的記錄片《I Know I'm Not Alone》誕生了,同時還有一些灼熱、引人沉思的原聲歌曲。

Musician (of rock/ragge group Spearhead) and activist Michael Franti ventured into Iraq with his camera and guitar in 2004, after being tired of all the mainstream media attention as well as economical benefits. It was during this trip that Franti and his team went though Bagdad, the west coast of the Jordan River, and the site of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Franti visited soldiers, the medical staff, poets, and musicians, while trying to first-handedly capture the post-war life of people. "I know I'm Not Alone" is the hard-working fruit for this incredible journey.

創作理念 / Concept:

對於在文化敘述中創作的創作者而言,「自我」位置在何處?當我企圖對自己的想像和自己的行為、想像的行為、想像的結果進行辯證時,似乎永遠矛盾地失焦。不斷離題。只能提供某些線索或標記,透過片段感染觀者、分離作品和觀者的生活經驗所產生的辨識體系,然後,繼續失焦。
“Vertigo is the conflict between the fear of falling and the desire to fall.” 細緻流淌的漫雨,蠕軟半透的死爛,千絲萬縷織墜成一團未果斷的濃霧,所到之處均成快速掠過的風景,此間反覆遊蕩的追尋者閃避瞬間的滴墜有如閃避那已不愛的人。因承受重而想妄於輕,在虛無與沉澱的曖昧氛圍中,才發現被視線忽略的記憶總是殘存最清晰的樣態。在地上行殤,如火般下雨,十日流滅。今世生者倖存,卻無所依傍。

To an art originator cultivated in culture , where the “I” position stands? While “I” attempt to visualize the outcomes of my imaginative behavior at the same time defending the results of all my fantasy, it is the “I” who is always distorted. (Continue, out of focus.) All “I” can do is to provide some clues and traceable marks to influence the readers. Later, with different individual’s experiences, “I” try to grasp recognizable signs in order to be out of focus again.

創作理念 / Concept:

對於創作的理解,始終像對任何還未學習過的事物的態度一樣,在成果看來,技術層面可以輕易的被辨識出來,而創作卻是那樣的不明確,卻又那樣的呼之欲出,但始終居於一個破曉前的不明狀態.我意圖強調這個不明的狀態,我認
為這個不明的狀態是肯定的、必然的,只是還未出現,但是仍必須追逐它。

A creative work is always vague to understand. In the surface, the technical skills are easy to see. The deeper meaning of a creative work, however, is usually unclear. This kind of status, vague, is inevitable but positive to me. Undoubtedly, I still need to look for it.
